Have you heard about the Trail of Tears? Well come and sit down and I will tell you the story that my great grandfather told my grandfather who told me. So be quit and listen.
It was 1835 the federal government persuaded a few Cherokee to sign a treaty giving up their people’s homes. Although some Cherokee sign the treaty, 17,000 refused to. They protest, send letters to the government and people of the United States. Cherokee plea for the understanding and keep their homes President Jackson, or white settlers of the area.
If you think that sad, wait till you hear the rest. Imagine that people are trying to make you leave your home and if you did not welling leave, they would make you. Well General Winfield Scott and an army of seven, 0000 federal troops came and remove Cherokee from their homes. My grandfather said that there was little kids, young adult, and older adults crying and begging to stay and for them not to make them leave. My great grandfather said he could still hear the scares of the scared people. The young people crying love one was separate.
Despite of everything they still was force to march west. Along the journey there was over 4,000 Cherokee dieing of the cold and hunger. Little kid suffers cause of greedy people. My great grandfather said, “It was one of the saddest things that he had been through”
The Cherokee people know it by trail they cried. We all know it as the Trail of Tears. What would you do if you was there, if the loves one that died that tons was someone close to. If you were, the little girls suffer.

Industrial Revolution

Traci Pyles here with the Unthinkable news. I hope everyone knows what the Industrial Revolution was, and what did for us. In this article I'm going tp tell how important it was to America.
The Industrial Revolution began to take place in the United States around 1800. It appeared frist in New England, Massachusetts, Rhode Island,Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire. People left their homes abd farms to work in mills and earned wages.
During the Insustrial Revolution there were ubterchangeable parts. Eli Whitney startedthe use of interchangeable parts. These wew identical machine parts that could be quickly put together to make a complete product. Because the parts were a lot alike, they could be manufactured with less skills.
We also experierced new technology that helped us greatly. Without the new technology I do belive the Insustrial Revolution wouldn't have taken place. The spinning jenny and the water frame, which spun thread. The power loom, which moved the threas into cloth. All these new technolgies made it possiable to make clothes quicker. The cotton gin was a machine that efficiently removed the seeds for cotton fibers.
These are some major points of the Industrial Revolution. Without new technology the Industrial Revolution wouldn't happen, because we would still be doing stuff the old way what bumber that would be. Well that it with the Unthinkable news. Stay toon with us next time.

Lewis and Clark....

Traci Pyles here with the Unthinkable, we have latest on everything you want to know. We are travel with Lewis and Clark. We are going to tell you what made this trip so unbelievable.
Jefferson wanted to know more about the mysterious lands west of the Mississippi. Jefferson chooses his private secretary, 28 years old, Meriwether Lewis to lead this journey of exploration. The expedition’s co-leader was William Clark, 32 years old; he is a friend of Lewis from the militia.
The expedition left St. Louis in the spring of 1804; they are slowly working there way up the Missouri River. Along their journey, they encounter a young Shoshone woman, Sacagawea. She joined the group as a guide. After spending the winter at the Pacific Ocean, both explore headed back east along separate routes.
In September 1806, Lewis and Clark returned. They had valuable information on people, plants, animals, and the geography of the land. What Lewis and Clark told the people, it inspire them to move west; so I would say that had a good trip.
I bet they seen a lot of beautiful land. Some pretty weird animals, and funny looking plants. They also told me that they meet some cool people, but I bet there glad to be home. Well that it with the Unthinkable turn in next week when we tell you about Burr and Hamilton. I wonder what they did.

Civics

Some of First Amendment rights are: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of assembly, and the right of petition. The First Amendment also allows citizen to criticize the government, in speech or in the press, without the fear of punishment. It also state that the governmernt endrose religon, nor prohibit people to practicing there religon. This allows us to be free.
Are duties of being Amercia is different from our responsibilities. Our duties of being an Amercian is to obey the law. The law help maintain order, they protect the health, safety, and the property of other citizens. Another duty of our's is to pay taxes. The government help provide for the nation with the tax money people pays.One of are most important duty is to defend the nation.
Responsobilties is to vote. If you dont vote you wont be able to express your ideas. Another responabilty is respect other people rights , if you dont respect other people rights then they wouldnt respect yours. One of the most important responsbilite is to know your rights.
